Lol. Yesterday, Boria Mazumdar was arguing on a ToI article the same with conclusion that "BCCI will do a great disservice if Kohli doesnt defend the CT and they should consult Kohlis Kumbles and all"

 

Point is Gavaskar and Shastri have already made it clear that BCCI should take a stand against new model. Now if Kumble and Kohli say the same will they request to ask every Indian fan before talking to ICC.

 

Media guys cant do simple maths.

England gets $2 for its population and probably in terms of Cricket fan base(Including Indian and Pakistanis and Bong resident) it get Atleast $20-$30 per cricket fan.

India gets $1 to spend on per 2000-3000 of its fan.

Why does CoA feel playing CT is in the best interest of Indian cricket and losing revenue and the new policy changes are not damaging Indian cricket ? I feel CoA is sabotaging BCCI on purpose along with Manohar because of petty politics. I feel Government should step in to prevent further damage to Indian cricket.

Lets put things in perspective, SC had ruled that 3 members (Not just one) can attend ICC meet between Feb 1-5 in Dubai with BCCI reporting to CoA.

Now following has happened. ICC just wanted CoA Limaye to attend the meet showin technical issue (only one member per board can attend). But later on Feb 1 agreed that they will let 3 members to attend. Amitabh, Anirudh and Limaye were to attend the meeting. But CoA dropped Amitabh and Anirudhh and only Limaye ended up taking over and doing all discussion in ICC Board. How Limaye became incharge of negotiation bypassing SC directive, No one knows.

While going in details of each of the Supreme Court directives, One would have to say that Supreme Court may be innocent. All it wanted to do was pass on a judhgement to Implement Lodha. But since it has seen what CoA has been upto since then, It hasnt sided with CoA. Infact CoA wanted to be part of SGM and many other things and SC hasnt given any judgement on that.

Since Limaye is not bcci official...why is negociations with him being even considered legal.

 

Bcci should go to SC and discuss the misrepresentation by coA .

 

Considering the huge amount involved...they should ask forvinvestigation why bcci interest was not represented properly by the COA member.

Take them to coury by the scuff of  their collar.

Make SC responsible for appointing idiots .
