Look for pictures of Malinga when he made his debut. FYI, in spite of appearances that's Malinga himself, not Malinga's wiry son. Ultimate_Game 1 Link to comment

Hell Raiser
Two week trainning camp for these seven bowlers, so does it means that none of them will be considered for selection of ODI's in West Indies?? Was really looking forward to watch some new fast bowlers and it was a good chance as well to try some of these youngsters. Hope selectors doesn't pick trundlers like Unadakat and Dhawal. I think it is the IPL , speedgun and fitness culture effects. -- Young Indian pacers are now interacting with top international pacers and coaches during the IPL, sharing dressing rooms and are having a chance of getting out of the Indian medium pace bowling mindset. They are understanding that it is about becoming complete bowlers with pace, bounce, accuracy and movement. They are understanding that it is not about just swing or just pace, at the cost of everything else. -- Speedgun readings are showing that Indian fast bowlers are bowling as quick or often quicker than the pacers of other teams. This is giving the young Indian quicks the confidence to work on their pace. Earlier, they were told that Indian bodies are not suited to bowling quick, so don't try. Now, they are understanding that these statements were all lies propagated by people who did not want to work hard or lacked the self confidence to think positively. -- Fitness culture is enabling the pacers to sustain pace and extract more bounce by hitting the deck hard. It is enabling them to retain pace even after injury, by taking breaks and working hard to retain full fitness speedheat 1 Link to comment
