We're going kick your asses out of the world cup just like the last 2 times. Why? He has already kicked Pakistan's arse many times. Dont listen to these trolls. 183 vs Pakistan while chasing. T20 WC 2012, 2014, 2016 all not outs in chases and MOM in all of them. WC 2015 century Asia Cup knock against Pak on a tricky pitch. Even in this CT on 4th june he played an epic knock. Yes he failed against Pak in CT final like he did against Aussies in Semi finals of WC. But he has nothing more to prove either vs Pak or Aust. He smashed them many many times in his career. He just need to sort out his temperament in WC knockouts...thats all. And I am pretty sure he will overcome that. Edited July 6, 2017 by Austin 3:!6 Laaloo, Under_Score, Cricketics and 1 other 4

Check the op, where does it say Kohli is greater than Sachin? let me re-write it for you OP says "Kohli passes Sachin to become player with most centuries" and OP also says "officially the greatest chaser." And the guy in the OP also said later in the thread thag he is not greater than Sachin in ODIs yet since he hasn't even scored close to what sachin has scored. This shows you just are trying to make up some random stuff to protect and defend yourself when asked by Ankit.

I really hope you don't consider some sort of statistical guru by going on cricinfo and spending 5minutew to copy paste some stats. Common sense doesn't need stats so buckle up bollywood hero for some common sense Does your stats tell you which bowlers kohli faced in his centuries vs bowlers Tendulkar faced? Does your stats tell you the quality of bowling kohli faces today vs what tendulkar faced? Is the quality or bowling better now or the 90s? Does your stats tell you that Tendulkar was scoring centuries aging along side nayan mongia, Robin singh, Ajay jadeja and Sidhu? Does your stats tell you whether facing McGrath, ambrose, Akram z Donald, saw lain and Warne has the same weightage vs stokes, taskin, holder and adil Rashid? No wonder I fail to take you seriously or anyone else for that matter, you actually dig up stays and copy paste em here to make your point. Your reasoning is like a child if you fail to consider a 100 other factors which are more significant than the numbers you are putting up. There is a reason that we cannot ever compare Bradman and tendulkar - get a hint. manu4411 1

He's the greatest ever is your premature title, so let me ask, how many cricketer have do u seen from the 70s and 80s chasing? Do you think chasing in the game today is as difficult as before? These sort of fan boy circle here threads is exactly the reasons the masses are worshipping these idiots and I can see why

There is a reason that we cannot ever compare Bradman and tendulkar - get a hint. Just fyi, you can not compare eras which I agree but its not that Sachin dominated mcgrath and co. every time. And also don't hype always that past era had great fast bowlers so it was tougher etc. If it is so easy to bat in today's era then why is Kohli way ahead from his contemporaries? Tendulkar scored many runs in odis too when Top Australian players weren't at their best and he then also scored against players like Kasprowicz in australian team etc who weren't the best bowler in their team. Sachin did face the great bowlers of the 90s but doesn't mean we underappreciate current crop of players. Its not their dault that those bowlers don't exist. Also flat pitches were available back in the days too. And it is important to remember that Sachin played 10 years from 2003 to 2013 when more flat pitches talk rose to attention too due social media activity increasing around this time, otherwise flat pitches were available everywhere in odis, just the standard of the game was different as 2020 wasn't introduced in the 90s and hence runs scoring wasn't as high as today. Many others score big runs today because of also 2020 effect has change the scoring rate and batting, doesn't mean it is just because of flat tracks and poor bowling.

You are calling players idiots? Okay interesting, if Kohli is idiot, then you are a bigger idiot by first calling it fan boy worshipping, then secondly pointing out 70s wra to todays game. Federer and Nadal will be always considered greatest tennis players by most people because of their record. Similarly Serena Williams too, who cares if Tennis has changed from the Rod Lavers era, Federer has dinated and won more slams and so has Nadal and Serena.

So if we cannot compare era's exactly is the reason why I do not think Kohli can be regarded as called the greatest chaser in the history of the game ... The bowling of the 80s and 90s was ofcourse much much better than the standards for today. Write down an all time greatest bowling 11 and see how many of the current bowlers do you see on that list - Not even 1 . Look at the stats for Vengsarakar and Gavaskar - They look quite pale to the stats nowadays but those guys are still regarded as one of the greats because of the era they played in and the level of competition they faced. The questions isn't whether Kohli is better than his contemporaries or not - ofcourse he is but his stats when you compare against the past eras/ decades of play become insiginificant because they cannot be translated into the 90's . The level of bowling is the reasins why guys like ABD can play 360 shots . My suggestion isn't that Kohli isn't good but when we canont compare across so many variables , how can we term one from the present era as the greatest considering how tilted the game is in the favor of the batsman now anyway ? And like you mentioned yourself that the run scoring wasn't as high back inthe day and team scores were around 200-250 , scoring a 100 at that time had much higher value and was a bigger task than scoring 100 when 350 is a par score with smaller boundaries and logs as bats.

Man , the past players from the 70s era were playing against the likes of Holding , Roberts , Croft , Marshall - What you on about ? Today's bowlers are a disgrace compared to that. Ofcourse Kohli is an idiot , the guy has no cricketing sense quite evident by his captaincy. You love comparing the sports but has every sport gone through the transformation that cricket has ? Not necessarily. Secondly , comparing team sports to individual sports is apples and oranges.

I find it funny when people randomly throw athletes from other sports to justify their point. What the other mentioned athletes did for their sports, kohli hasn't achieved even 1/10th of that to be even compared to them. And Schumacher does not participate in a team sport! Big difference. Comparing kohli to Schumacher or tiger is quite a bad comparison.
