fineleg Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 Latest: Delhi will miss the services of it's regular skipper Ishant Sharma in the upcoming Ranji Trophy semi-final against Bengal in Pune, starting December 17. Ishant has reportedly sustained an ankle niggle during the final Test against Sri Lanka in the capital earlier this month. With Test regulars Mohammed Shami and Wriddhiman Saha playing for Bengal, Delhi would have loved to get the services of its regular skipper who has taken 20 wickets in four Ranji games this season. "Ishant has a slight ankle niggle and he would not like to aggravate his injury before the South Africa series. The Delhi team reached Pune this evening without Ishant," a member of the Delhi team management said. The BCCI has allowed all the Test regulars whose teams have qualified for the semi-finals to play for their respective states in order to get match time. The Indian team is not playing any practice game so national selectors wanted Test regulars to play Ranji semi-finals. KL Rahul will not be available for Karnataka as he is in the T20 squad along with Manish Pandey. For Delhi Rishabh Pant will be leading the side in Ishant's absence. Navdeep Saini will be leading the attack alongside Vikas Tokas. Akash Sudan will be the back up pacer for Delhi.
fineleg Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 (edited) In quarter finals though in first inn 22 overs, and second inn 15 overs, and not a single wicket for Khejroliya ??? http://www.cricbuzz.com/live-cricket-scorecard/19135/delhi-vs-mp-2nd-quarter-final-ranji-trophy-2017-18 Edited December 15, 2017 by fineleg

There is a chance he might miss out to Sudan though Sudan himself is very ordinary. Kulwant still has more chances of picking wickets than Sudan.

I'd hope Khejroliya is a "lot" better than Sudan, if he is just better than Sudan - then just 'speed gun pace' at age of 26 almost, not too great. Edited December 15, 2017 by fineleg

Your posts make it seem like you are barely out of your teens. Thanks sandeep. On Indian patta pitches bowling remains fast for very few overs...after that the speed goes down considerably. I actually get surprised when same medium pacer suddenly looks dangerous and his ball bounces awkwardly getting edges in first 4 over's with new ball n later all shine though is visible on the ball but does not help the bowler at all. I have one bowler in team who bowls 4 over's out of 20 over's continuously n does not want to come for second spell at all..pushes to bowl all his over's at start..red ball deteriorates fast.

Now my partner tells me I don't do running in between the wickets well.. I tell him I will hit fours of pacers and sixes of spinners... N singles when there are two runs... Haha. That's why I can't digest the fact that Dhoni still runs as fast as Pandya bcos my strength has not declined at all only my running speed has gone down quite a bit... May be I prefer slow jog now. If Dhoni can beat all others in sprint than v need to shut our trap as his age could be 38 but he is still 27

Its a supplement for joint health and eat L Carnetine along with it both are safe and non steroidal suplements will help you. Dhoni is Phenominal for his age.
Test cricket Indian fan Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Karnataka vs Vidarbha would be a great semi final tomorrow. Though Karnataka are the favourites, Vidarbha cannot be underestimated. They will also be boosted by the services of Umesh Yadav. They do not seem to have much problems. Fazal is batting like a dream. I have followed his career from school cricket. He surely is doing justice to his talent. He needs to fire again in the semis and make sure the Indian selectors make place for him at least as the second choice opener instead of Abhinav Mukund in recent times. Getting back to Vidarbha, Sanjay ramaswamy, Jaffer, Ganesh Satish lend solidity to their batting. They have lots of choices among spinners- wakhare, karn Sharma, karnewar. Umesh will lead the fast bowling attack with lalit yadav and gurbani. Also excited to see Mithun from Karnataka. He is bowling with a lot of energy this season.
