Ben Stokes bolwed only 5 overs against WI on final day of 2nd test

All rounder? more like a batsman than swears a bit.

I found it very strange that Stokes was not bowled much.

 

The ball was not moving much on the last day ..... the 3 other English seamers were bowling 125 k to 133 k mark most of the times  ..... medium pace with no movement does not work and it did not.     Moeen was not getting much turn.

 

Stokes has bowling the 135 k to 145 k range in this season and has been used as the " enforcer "  when wickets have not fallen.  He has bowled a bouncer to unsettle batters and a quick yorker to take a wicket on such occasions.

 

Should have been used more.

Root did not even bowl himself which was quite strange as he has been used quite smartly by Cook many times

The problem was Woakes who looked so innocuous,you have real problems of taking 10 wickets when your 3rd seamer  sucks as we have found out repeatedly on away tours.

Aging Anderson is an issue. Also they should play the new guy Ronald jones.
