Shardul Thakur : Your thoughts after his first game?

shardul thakur analysis-

 

good outswinger as got double the amount of swing bhuvi got in his initial 2-3 overs

+ 

speed- bowled at 138-140 in his first 4 overs

and then 134-135 in later overs.

+ hits the deck hard and extracts good bounce from it.

MY thoughts-   felt that he should have bowled more full in first 3 overs as was getting wonderfull outswing and needs to work more on endurance in speeds and fitness ....overall a well deserved position.

Future-  miles better than bhuvi(avg-47,in 2017 odi's...laughable) and even his swing was about double of bhuvi....see no reason to replace him with overrated bhuvi who can only bowli on wildly swinging conditions that are available once in an year.

dont want to ridicule you but he is really a restricting bowler than who can pick wickets.

pandya avg-35 and bhuvi-47.... dont be an ass-kisser.

Shardul actually bowled 135 k to 148 k in his first 4 overs 

 

and 133 k to 141 k later on.

148 was one-off....but regular in 138-142.

it seems to me he has real stamina problems and his relatively short stature makes him somewhat skiddy (not always a good thing).

He did decently well. Should be given a few more chances before being rejected. Hope it has nothing to do with the Jersey number.

S Thakur for me falls in a no man's land, doesn't have outright pace, or is a work horse.He is more of a 133 to 138 bowler on Ave , being on a shorter side, not having enough stamina, and our pace bowling has good stocks will go against him.

I see Siraj, Thampi, Aniket, Sangwan, Avesh having more potential then him

Only advantage he has compared to others is he got a genuine outswinger.

Was good but not impressive enough.

I'm looking for someone who has raw talent ( combo of natural pace height bounce ). Swing can be learnt afterwards.

 

Next hopes on siraj, Aniket, ankit, saini, kejroliya etc. etc.

Siraj presumably. He has stamina and motivation issues as well.
