I think this guy is the main reason we are not walking off with a series win here. Had he showed some honesty towards the team's cause from the beginning, we wouldn't have lost a single match. His misguided team selections and not helping Kohli realize his mistakes had made sure that we never in it to win the series. Although they came back brilliantly in the last match, we can not afford to repeat the same mistakes for the Eng tour. This team will continue to under perform and never realize their true potential under him.

I understand the sentiments but I think too early to judge that, its not that we so better under other coaches in South Africa. We surely fked up the schedule under him but we can’t ask to change and play musical chairs with the coach at his time. That will also hurt the players as he now must have had good camraderie with players like Bhuvi and co whom he would atart to understand better after how he performed in this series.

 

I am not a Shastri fan and would take Moody any day, but now we got to stick with Shastri for next 10 months at least  Hopefully he will drop Rohit Sharma from test matches after this series and if he has done that, I would appreciate the move and recognize the fact that he has learned, which is what we want as fans from him

Ravi is a great cheerleader and unfortunately that is not good enough for winning tests abroad consistently.

May be, thing with many Rohit fans is that they are too much mesmerized by the way he looks when batting which wasn’t the case with Raina.

 

He is surely very elegant to watch and one of the best batsman to watch when on song(we only see him scoring in ODI’s), and some management folks keep hoping for him to deliver since he seems to have all the shots or looks “classy” or “tailunted”.

 

This is where some haven‘t realized that being classy and elegant is bullocks if you can’t add runs for the team.  

 

Put the hammer and drop Rohit once and for all from Test Matches.

His decision to bat first citing that it would be difficult to bat in 4th innings proved correct.the win was partly due to that.But could have won the series had it not been for wrong selection for 2nd test by shastri and kohli
