How is it selfish? It's a good tactic, especially when Morkel has an injury, rabada and Philander has some niggles aswell.

Who is going to bowl if they are having 2 injured among the 4 bowlers & the other carrying a niggle batting at the crease.

This does make me angrier that we didn’t give ourselves the best chance to win over there. South Africa are proper rubbish. Too many batters over the hill, out of form, or both.

Some Batters came good.

Starc :adore: No better sight than seeing Starc bowling those reverse swinging yorkers. Phasst bowling at its best!

How we wonder now about starc and his reverse swing.

Saffers are mentally destroyed after the beatings in the recent ODI and T20 series and have resigned themselves to their fate of losing. Aussies are reaping the benefits of playing a softened up side.

Meditation and Deepak Chopra sessions does wonders. Nothing is an obstacle after that sessions.

It’s Australia’s heaviest Test defeat since 1928 when they lost by 675 runs to England in Brisbane, it makes it the second worst defeat by runs for Australia and fourth worst of all time in Test cricket.

For Australia the horror records don’t end there as it also becomes the first Test series in 48 years the men in the baggy green haven’t had a batsman score a century.

India played much better against SA than Australia! And Aussies have similar conditions to SA and came early to practice Lol

Can't say it was background issues, aussies have been below par since 2nd test.

At least india gave a fightback and were in the game in every test.

and India missed a big chance to beat SA, i feel if they had the 2 spinners in Chawal and the other guy , it would be really good chance to beat SA

Unless we sort out our catching woes, we aren't winning in SA/Eng/NZ/Aus. The India-SA series was decided by the difference in catching. We dropped like 13 catches in the 1st 2 tests while your boys dropped 5 catches in the test you lost.

That was some level of ass whooping, SA have violated Aus here. Congrats to SA fans, 5-2 against India/Aus this summer is a brilliant scoreline, esp with all the talk of decline and quotas harming SA's strength yada yada. ABDV has been the trump card for them in both these series', so here's hoping he doesn't abandon the team again.
