Anwar was never a destroyer of any attack he was more of a accumulator

Sehwag played as opener most of the time consecutively while other tendulkar and ganguly played as middle order batsmen sometimes. Also note there will be only one batsman pick from each country to view this thread more transparent.

Tendulkar played as opener as equally as middle order batsman (no;4) so he is out of consideration. This is merely a batsmen of each country who played most of the matches as opener.
