Will we get a single 1st innings lead this tour?

Tough to compete in SENA countries without 1st innings lead, no matter how slender. 

 

Under Dhoni in 2011 (our darkest year in test cricket) we managed a 1st innings lead in the 2nd test (Trent Bridge LINK), can we at least do that this time? Winning a test is a far flung thought, but if we fail to reach 300 1st up what hope is there to even compete? Even in SA it looked like 300 200 is beyond our capabilities. One man can't carry the batting unit every single time.
