Kohli seems like has forgotten that he has to do the field placements properly. They are taking easy singles, ffs even broad is taking easy singles now.

Day 1.

I watched todays play.

Curran was out (looked super close in real time) but umpires call.

Was removed immediately after he got a wicket.

Hardly got a crack at tail.

Almost got Broad out twice in the only over he bowled to him.

Some overs werent great (only 1 bad over to curran) but he was putting in pressure otherwise.

Maybe it's an expectation problem.

I wonder what is expected of him.

Read this many times ,in centurion he was unlucky ,same in last test even ishant is always unlucky  !!

He is the number one spinner ,we have big expectations from him ,if he was Rashid or Ali type bowler I wouldn't crib .

With so many left handed in the side ,he is not getting the rewards expected of him

this the advantage of batting first. psychologically every run smacked is a bonus run, no scoreboard pressure.

Especially against this Indian batting unit which cannot chase anything chasing 4rth
