You will never see a Pakistani or a Bangladeshi losing sleep over insults to their great kings from pre-Islamic era.

this is the paradox.

If Pak in particular start thinking and acting like a nation of indian origin muslims they will become more legitimate, as a matter of fact because of their perceived skin color they will be more acceptable for westerners in a few generations.  They would have more soft power on the muslims in India so on and so forth, but their militaries hold on popular narrative will weaken with this philosophy which they do not want.

So its a good and a bad thing for India that pak do not think themselves as indian muslims.

its cute that the Saudis think their massive oil money will make them the top dogs

the way their 'hit squad' got the body double they look unprofessional, there are so many public images of jamal - they could have actually got someone more convincing, like match the hair line etc atleast.  Besides what did they think have the body double walk out and deceive (lol) , then tell there was a local accomplice to avoid checking in the consuls home - looks an amateur hit job, after all the **** one sees in homeland.

"They had a very bad original concept. It was carried out poorly and the cover-up was one of the worst cover-ups in the history of cover-ups. It's very simple. Bad deal. Should have never been thought of. Somebody really messed up."

So Trump is saying they should have killed and disposed him off in a more efficient way?

Yes. kind of. Journos get killed all time.

What were Saudis thinking when they did it. I can guarantee, Out of all the places in Istanbul, Saudi Consulate will be most bugged place. CIA,KGB,MOSSAD,MI6,BND,NIO, I dare say even ISI, They all may have caught the live feeds of Khassogi's execution

The 'rumour' is that Khassogi  wore an apple watch that was sending live transmission from inside the agency and uploading on cloud. So apparently multi-point origin coordinated hit-squad forgot to check if his apple watch was transmitting or atleast jam it. Not surprised at the Saudi nincompoop level of handling this.

The drama around this issue shows Journalists are greater humans than the rest of us.

Saudis murder thousands of Yemenis, Americans and Canadians supply the Saudis will the weapons to murder thousands of Yemenis, and the human rights types keep silent.

One journalist  gets executed and suddenly everyone wakes and up to even the President of the US makes a comment. Saudis always do this kind of atrocity. Why is it special b/c this was a journalist?

Not all journos. Only those who carefully cultivate their image as 'giving up life of luxury for principles and morals of journalism'.

its range is 100/150ft max ..

only other option is they hijacked wifi and connected it with his apple watch

yeah, 100-150 feet should be within the range of a woman waiting outside a consular building....the Saudi consulate in Istanbul doesn't look that big - atleast not as big as some of the mega-US consulate compounds.

I dont have an apple watch, so i dont know how this **** works - do you know if you can watch it live as its being uploaded ?

there migth be apps which will livestream the video or audio ( here we can have normal WA or voice call ) ..

actually when i tried apple watch ( teams common asset , not mine ) it was not having an SIM card support..

but with the latest watch , they introduced sim card support .. thye dont even need BT or WiFi for broadcasting the videos
