No need for the regional nonsense. Shankar plays for the Delhi franchise and made his name courtesy his exploits in domestics and A tours.

The Problem is this.  Srini and Dhoni axis of evil destroyed indian cricket foe years.  0-8!!! etc etc  As all then about csk and playing them and boosting franchise.  CSK players picked all the time over others.  Any 60/40 call went 40 to csk player.  It was a joke and disgusting and not fogotten by me who had to watch and endure

 

Now I see srini the slimy wamker back in holding power.  Suddenly Dhoni back in T20 team!  And so suspicion arises rightly or wrongly, so would not suprise if cement man is pushing for tamil players as well to boost his region and power base, this is way it works wether ICF likes it or not. 

 

Now to Shnkahar not bad pick for odis, lad can play.  But bat 3 in T20 O please cant even get in IPL team!  So yes I question that pick a long with Dhoni and how they came about

^ Simply put, there is a healthy competition because there is money in the game. Take money out, there wont be any competition. Its money earned as part of their policies of taking their fair share is helping us.

 

Do you think, you will get world class fielders in domestic league by providing dry outfield. If you still dont get the depth, agai, When Kumble floated alternative career training by BCCI to not so successful players, who do you think was going to fund that? ICC? The suckers want BCCI to pay their taxes too.

 

For every Kohli produced, there would be thousands of player struggling to meet their ends.

 

So hate CSK as much as u can, but dont burn your own house.

Did you read the link? I do not want to go in circle here. For me, Money , board management , cricket logistic, facilities and other stuff is most important. As at the end of that, ifs well managed , financially affluent and oiled system will keep producing stars.

 

Everyone has perspective, To me, Kohli the captain is worse thing to happen to Indian cricket after betting scandal. And its simply his  personality which brings down whole team. Look at RCB. And thats why he can’t select anyone from RCB. Despite him, we are winning. Credit goes to BCCI system

Darkest days is when Mumabi mafia ruled Indian cricket. Gavaskar himself has done more damage. Do you remember his 36* in a WC match batting for the entirety of 60 overs. Why because captaincy was given to Venkataraghavan his senior. He used his star personality to do as he pleased. Him walking off with his partner after given out lbw against Lillee is an embarrassment. Him screwing the careers of Amarnath and ruining the captaincy of Kapil, playing on to his 40s (ironically repeated by King Tendulkar...ooh that must have hurt ). Sachin selfishly wanting his 100th 100 in a losing cause to minnow . Those were the darkest days of Indian cricket.

Biggest of them all was Dhoni running rhiti sports backed by mama and we saw likes of RP Singh making comebacks.
