Whatever grievances one may have against Mamata Banerjee, she is still a mass leader with a lot of grass root level support. And she has years of administrative (mal)practice also.

Rahul Gandhi has none of these things. Mamata Banerjee *is* a better candidate than Rahul Gandhi.

Pappu is considered by his party to be mass leader after the recent state elections. even after the 1000s of crores spent on his image makeover, nobody takes him seriously within political circles and congress thinks indian voters will

Rahul was seen as young, smart, brilliant man till he spoke. So let Priyanka talk and everything will be clear. She just has been quite and  has the only benefit of the surname.

Lolwa I remember when He was being touted as the hottest bachelor in town.
Ab dekho kya hogaya.
Priyanka I heard is cut from the same cloth.
Uparse she is rumoured to be schizophrenic/suffering from dissosciative personality disorder

What Bhakts here need to understand is that criticizing their Messiah doesn't automatically mean professing your love to Congress. Only a fool would deny the fact that religious crimes have indeed risen after 2014. And this goes both ways. Many Hindus have been at the receiving end too for instance in Bengal and Kerala.

IMO though the role of cow related violence is overstated. The real reason has been the massive increase in the popularity of Social Media(Around 30 crore Indians use various kinds of SM).

Fake and click bait sensationalist news are easy to spread via platforms such as FB/WhatsApp and Indians being gullible people as they are could be easily fooled by the propaganda generated from various vested groups. The reason why we didn't see this under Congress was because SM at that time was in it's infancy and was more of an urban phenomenon than anything else.

Then came the Jio Revolution which changed the way people used internet in India. Now more and more rural people are getting connected online and it's easy to brainwash them since they tend to take anything on internet at the face value , completely trusting it since the concept of cross checking it is alien to them. Even my dad, who is a well educated person have often been a victim of fake news.

Thus more than the Govt in power right now, it's the rise of Social media which has changed the religious landscape in India. What people earlier talked in their living rooms is now getting posted and shared on Facebook. It has its repercussions obviously as seen by the increasing mistrust between various communities across the country.

The most important thing, is the breaking India forces are increasing irrespective of who's in power. At least, BJP won't join them and will keep them checked to a certain degree. That's the biggest reason to vote BJP.

Next, India wasn't born in 2014, seems many foolishly take that there were no crimes earlier and only after 2014, have people outraged. Reality is such crimes have occurred plenty, and remember this crimes are a reaction based. It's two ways and nobody wants to talk about the initial cause. In India, cows are part of livelihood and so there are people who unfortunately take laws into their hands when there is smuggling. The bigger underlying issue is that people either don't have access or trust our police, thus thereby doing their own way of justice. Additional, we keep using a western prospective and think of cows as just another animal. Even, the west have huge outrage over dogs, so similarly case with our cows who are also sacred and people's livelihood depends on them.

And what is this about BJPians and their high morale ground? They are always full of guilt. While the other side still keep voting for the very same parties (SP, Congress etc) despite being victimized by such parties and their lack of development works.
