No mathematical chance? Every team is still in the mix. If CSK & MI go on a winning spree and RCB/RR win their respective games, the RR/RCB clash will likely be the difference on who progresses. Of course a bunch of results need to go in favour of both RR & RCB, but they aren't out just yet.

And it is a probable scenario, as to win 8 games: SRH have to win 75% of its games K11 and KKR, a 100% Also, those competing for spots play against each other K11 plays SRH, which plays RCB K11 plays KKR The key takeaway is that these teams have to keep winning. Some teams may have a margin for 1 loss only Edited April 24, 2019 by zen
zen
Cannot just upload excel info from the computer KKR cannot get to 8 wins Now will compete with RR and RCB to try to get to 7 wins and hope for the best
zen
K11 and SRH are on 5 wins w/ 3 games remaining. However, one game is against the other, therefore only of them can make it to 8 wins if it wins all their remaining 3 matches (which could be difficult) RCB and RR have one game vs. each other so one of them will not make it to 7 wins, assuming they win their other matches KKR can make it to 7 wins as well if it wins its remaining 3 games
zen
Matches remaining: CSK -> DC and K11 DC -> RCB, CSK, and RR K11 -> SRH, KKR, and CSK KKR -> MI, K11, and MI MI -> KKR, SRH, and KKR RCB -> DC, RR, and SRH RR -> RCB and DC SRH -> K11, MI, and RCB
Unstable Joe
I never get why BCCI keeps putting the two MI-KKR matches so close to each other and towards the last phase of the league stage

Strong teams from past season should play each other in weekends. Its rubbish to see RR or RCB play in the weekends. Also some of these technological innovations would be a good addition like the one I mentioned above.

Finish with 7 wins. KKR SRH, and RR must finish with 6 wins or less. Punjab will qualify directly because of 7 wins. Or win the remaining 2 wins by huge margins , and boost their NRR onto the positives. Either way is difficult.
