I wasn't impressed by her stint as Defence Minister, her handling of Rafale and disappearance during Pulwama, Balakot. Anyway hope she improves and does well, maybe inexperience and tentativeness affected her previously, I give her leeway. I am also sure BJP has a deeper plan with her.

Jaitley is one of the main architects of BJP dominance. .....From so long in the parliament, from opposition days, he has been helping build base...vast knowledge on internal, external issues, legal expert, master strategist, shrewd, master orator, consensus builder (GST) ....He is right up there with atal, Advani, Modi , Shah... Best appointment by far is Amit Shah this time. Jaitley is a big loss not just as FM. Clarke 1
