Match over in matter of 2 overs. WI don't have temperament for ODIs. Just crash, bang , wallop. Smashed Poyz though, well played lol

West Indies have got to be the most unprofessional team out there. There was no need for Gayle and Hetmeyer getting out like that. They have no sense of patience. They are a pure T20 team.

This WI is packed with power hitters without any brains to back it up. All they needed to do from the position they were in, was take 4 - 5  runs an over, rotate the strike and take it to the 40th over with wickets in hand. But they can’t rotate the strike if their life depends on it, need to go for the big shots with risks even if the don’t need to take any.

Naah Vijay Shankar played him with aplomb in the A tour before that. Dhoni and Jadhav no comments

VijayShankar may have played him well in NZ

When i say NZ i mean his hoics out of frustration towards mid wicket earned him boundaries but not the case here in these reasonably big grounds he has very limited range of shots with no power behind those

I am in minority here as I rate his batting

Useless WI team. Second team to head home after Afghanistan. Third team will join them tomorrow.

Interestingly both teams who qualified to play this WC

True.  The patience level and game awareness of the Windies batsmen is worse than that of a gully cricketer.

Tbh SL would have been in the same position as well if not for two washouts. Dont get fooled by their performance against England in which England threw it away rather than SL winning it

Im not rejecting him ,he at best can bat with a run a ball strike rate

We need to add some firepower in the lineup to harness his skills otherwise he is a redundant addition to the eleven with two already there

I think Pant should come in for Jadhav. The captain couldn't conjure up the courage to bowl Jadhav on a track like today , that just underscores his bowling is not being considered. His batting well average at best

Can someone explain me why the fudge Holder is batting in the middle order? I know he has got a few hundreds in Tests but thats it. It doesn't mean you should start acting like real batsmen which you are not. Even Akram had a double hundred, That didn't mean he should start batting at no 6

And to add more,he doesn't instill a sense of confidence about his fitness either, seems lifeless who can breakdown any moment
