There was a spirited debate on whether Pandya should be in the test XI - debatable question - those arguing for his selection made the point that having a 5th bowler who could keep one end quiet for 15 overs or so, helped the first 3 pacers stay fresh and make them more effective. And our esteemed expert retorted with this now infamous "hammock for bowlers" taunt - essentially arguing that Pandya was too bits and pieces to be worthy of test selection.

He proceeded to repeat this taunt about a few dozen times, even opening threads with it, right up until Pandya ran through the England batting, picking up a test 5-fer.

Hasn't been seen around here since then.

:hysterical: OMFG!! Outsider always did like the taste of his foot! He has done this quite a few times with other subjects IIRC. I remember even and old Outsider Failed Predictions thread at one point.... kemon achen dada?
