Disappointing from Buttler. Don't know the history between the two. I thought Buttler was better than this. Usually he doesn't chirp but who knows

He’s generally cool but got a feisty streak remember that ODI in Bangladesh when he squared up to Mahmudullah for over celebrating his wicket?

Is that why England drew with Pakistan an australia at their home? We can keep making excuses, but that's a series we should have won, instead we got thrashed. Drawing against a weak south African team does not make England a good team

Yes but that was a reaction to something that was said by a Bangladeshi player. That happens quite a few times. This was the first time he was the aggressor. Or maybe something was said by Philander when Buttler was batting. As you said he is usually cool

South Africa's problems against spin bowling continue. Last year Dananjaya De Silva, a part time off spinner picked up 3 wickets to win the test for SL

A newbie like Dom Bess picking up wickets by bowling regular off spin outside or on off stump, ball after ball, with minimal experimentation. Something for our lead off spiner to observe and learn from.
