BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

What else do you expect from Phuck de India? Defending a score of 347 and losing!! WTF is Thakur doing in the side? This team selection is plain pathetic. And you should always give Shami texting privileges just before India goes out to field. Bewda should know better!!

Bewda 0 - NZ 1

drop kulcha altogether, try out some young players. they cant be any worse.

And what will u do when they have their bad phase coz every cricketer will go through that. Then ull give up on them to ?? With wc so near u cant get in all youngsters as well. May be one but u cant drop both.

Ofcourse they can be worse....their is no limit to be worse. We all thought what can be worse then umesh in odi who use to leak around 6 and now we have shardul leaking at 6.89

any coach will be fired for playing inferior  player when better option is available.

lol all kannadigas complained when the selectors dropped KL Rahul after multiple failures that he wasn’t not given fair chances. Would agree the same kulcha? The nz grounds are small they have chased 350 at the same ground earlier.

When players go through a bad phase , they need to go back and work out to regain their earlier game or find solutions to the present issues they are facing . Over exposing them match after match at international will derail their confidence completely.

Expectation is not to drop them forever , just release them  and make them work out things and in the mean time try a few others who are in Queue ..

Same thing happened with KL . Went back , played some A 4 day matches.  , worked at NCA and started getting form back .

Same thing is required from Pant also . Need to work on WK , batting  for 3-4 months  and then when next opportunity comes , grab with both hands, legs ....and what not .

There is window of 2-3 months though off season . Lot depends how these guys find solutions for their problems and be ready before WT20  with  ways to succeed.

Nothing comes easy . Ish Sodhi was working for 1.5 years to have a slider . Zampa  did work extensively with S. Sriram and even changed his bowling style a bit , developed deliveries which cannot be hit easily , used angles better .

Thats what is called for .

Chahal should be able to find why he does not get much drift nowadays , why cannot bowl googlies , what are his stock defensive ball if some one going after him  - other than throwing the ball wide of off stump ?

Kuldeep should also see  why he does not have the same dip , His goolies and leggies are not turning as much now , he needs to develop some defensive deliveries which cannot be hit out park at will . You just cannot throw every ball up without deception.

Spot on, all young players other than Sachin , Kapil and Gavaskar have been dropped at some point in their careers. They all went back to domestic cricket and worked on their game then came back.

Trust ICFers to get hyper over a JAMODI result. Listen up folks, ODI cricket ain't that important for the time being, T20s and tests take precedence, in fact are the ONLY formats that matter in 2020 and 2021, even if we lose all ODIs these 2 years take a chill pill. This (ODI) phase is all about experimentation and giving youngsters a taste of international cricket....build experience, strengthen reserves, innovate, formulate gameplan etc. They are allowed to fail, we don't even have a CT in 2021, next assignment is 2023 WC.

I don't know why we are playing Bumrah/Shami here, they need to be rested. Pretty sure they are bowling well within themselves after what happened to Ishant. Not bothered about the bowling effort, Kuly needs to get back to domestic cricket, Thakur will get found out much before 2023, no need to worry. Big positive is KLR, #5 is perfect for him, he is an upgraded version of DK, lesser the time better will be his output. If he finds his inner beast we will have a devastating MO in 2 years time. Also the idea behind making him keep is brilliant, need more multi dimensional cricketers, ODI format clearly is Pant's weakest suit, kid needs more time. Iyer is a huge plus, always believed in his ability, technique is overrated for white ball cricketers on modern day flat decks as England's batsmen have exhibited these last 3 years. Getting to 347 was a top effort, our '19 WC MO would have limped to maybe 300 (highly optimistic, more like 270-280) after Kohli's dismissal. That counts as progress. We'll get better, hope the new openers click, liking the look of our batting unit for the first time since 2011.

Would be even more likable when Gill, Pant , Shaw, Saini  start firing in addition to Rohit , VK , Iyer , Rahul .
