England are the team to beat in this world cup once again. Their batting though can falter in crucial games but again if they are on song a very hard team to beat.

This format suits them even better than 50 overs. Only a fully motivated and functioning WI may mount a challenge.

The England team is as capable of striking hard as it is of self-destructing. People make it seem like they can't be beaten but they also said that before the 2019 World Cup yet they lost to Australia, Sri Lanka and Pakistan during the group stage and at one point of time it almost looked like they wouldn't even reach the knockouts.

Thanks to our inept approach in the group round against England. We could have hunted the target down.

Rohit sharma is one of the greatest 6 hitter of  the present gen.

Put  Rabada,Cummins,Starc and give w challenge to hit max 6s in a contest and pretty sure Rohit will Trump even hacks like Russell etc.

However Apart from Rohit and to some extent Rahul we don’t have a 6 hitter. Pandya May be but no way he is going to hit 140+ pacers for 6s consistently in Aus conditions in fact especially after his long rehab.

We are not winning it. We need an opener like Gambhir who could switch gear at the top of the order.  Moment we see a left arm seamer we freeze. Remember how we were shatting our pants agianst left armers like Amir, Boult.   Gambhir violated Amer chasing 302 before getting himself run out in the CT match against Pakistan.

Hardik

Jadeja

Shami

Navdeep

Chahal

Combo of solid n explosive batting, 6 bowling options wid no real weak links

Jadeja is the weak link, neither an explosive batsman, not a wicket taker bowler !

Many games are decided in the last over or a margin of 12 or less runs. At the end of the day, a game can appear close but good teams would have delivered a couple of big hits more to make the difference more often than not. Which is why it is important to get going quickly w/o wasting balls.
