Also got banned from PeePee for repeatedly asking this uncomfortable question but never got the answer. For me, I will always remember Balakote with Imran and his frustrated answer in parliament - "what do you want me to do? Start a war with India?". Information warfare will go back and forth, but the bottomline is that PakMil knows that even if they use "non state actors", violence against Indian interests will be returned with offensive escalation by Indian armed forces. And that's an escalation that they have to think 1000 times before risking.
