Raina could have won us the 2009 CT match against Pak if not for the howler of Ajmal's bowling, he smashed it into the pads and ump lifted his finger . Was batting beautifully, thank god for DRS.

Thanks for the memories Raina. You helped us in the QF and the SF in 2011 with vital knocks as a no.7 tough place to bat but came good when we needed it the most. Man our 2011 team had the most clutch batters ever. Couldn't make it to the test level because of the short ball problem. When he appeared on the scene, it appeared that we have a quality middle order bat who showed no signs of fear in him. Also the test match century against SL in the 4th innings with VVS in 2010 was also special. Good luck to you on your post retirement endeavors

What a Middle order that was yuvi, raina and jawani deewani. We ll never have such middle order match winners.

Gill, Iyer, KLR, Pant, Pandya, Rana, SKY, Gopal...so many options, we can have a devastating middle order with proper backups if some stars stop being so paranoid about their brands.

Fantastic team man, fearless player down the order, an outstanding fielder & an absolutely lovely guy off the field with the fans.

I will never forget his innings on that wonderful evening at the Motera! Knock-out chases don't get any tough/better than that.:hatsoff:

It would be hard to match his genuine joy in his teammates' success. He is surely a Team India fielding coach in the making.

Thanks for the great memories!

I thought Raina was still one of the best t20 player till date, infact he could even walk into the current team, as he still remains one of the better finishers. People didn't like him post his faiilures in ODI's but his ability to always come and attack was special. Indeed one of the better finishers of the Modern Indain team, who was selfless. Did not sit there in the middle to accumulate high average but came out striking for the team forgetting he might get dropped after few failures. His attitude like that deserves high applauds and one the current generation of Indian cricketers must look up to.

All the best Raina, you were one of the best.
