So CSK now has Rayudu,Dhoni,Raina,Tahir,Watson all retire from international cricket and Jadhav who has one foot in retirement already

 

Also Raina as good as he was he should have gone back to the basics, worked hard, made tons of runs and tried a hand at a comeback. Looks like he doesn’t want to put in the hard yards and take the easy way out of playing leagues.

Then he wouldn’t have been captain of the no.1 Test side or a wc winner and he wouldn’t be getting all the tributes he is getting today :).

Favourite memory of Raina was his selflessness. First to celebrate his team mates success. His cameo against Pakistan in WC semis was his finest hour to pick one.

Very underrated player. Was one of the best batsmen for india to play at those lower order position and among one of the rare Indian bats who could go on from ball one. Always played for the team. Congrats on a wonderful career champ.
