express bowling Posted October 6, 2020 Author Posted October 6, 2020 (edited) I think getting to bowl with the new ball in the first 4 overs has given Bumrah the impetus he needed. And we have seen the super Bumrah of 2018 and 2019 again. High pace, zip off the deck, bounce, accuracy, attacking lines and lengths, seam movement, swing, pinpoint yorkers, bouncers, rising balls ... everything was there. Really like the movement he got both ways. We saw test match type channel bowling in the first 2 overs and lots of yorkers and some bouncers in the last 2 overs. Perfect ! Why you have to go to the other extreme every time. 93 wkts after 83 games with an economy of 7.5 and spearhead of best IPL side to boot.
