kepler37b Posted December 24, 2025 Posted December 24, 2025 (edited) Eid 2026 will be a noticeable day. Many telugu films releasing including nani's Paradise. Along with Durandhar 2. I believe every other theater in telugu states will be housefull. I suspect Durandhar 1 must have made atleast 100 crores in telugu states and atleast $5M due to telugu audience in USA. Tillu Posted December 24, 2025 Posted December 24, 2025 Kishkinda Kandam - This Malayalam film is a mystery thriller. Engaging screenplay and masterful storytelling though the ending was a bit underwhelming. It's on JioHotstar dubbed in 5 languages if you want to watch it.

Ultimate_Game Posted December 25, 2025 Posted December 25, 2025 Watched Dhurandhar and loved it! Great casting and acting by almost everyone. Though it was long but still interesting throughout. Especially liked Akshay Khanna and Rakesh Bedi, and Arjun Rampal and Sanjay Dutt weren't too bad either. Didn't expect the movie to be this good and was pleasantly surprised.

Top telugu film is svsc. But the issue there with comments is " why is this gora not agreeing with my list? Everybody should agree with me. This movie is dumb as it did not appeal to my heightened sense of intellectual glory ". Lord 1

Don't know about the current generation but for my generation and all the previous generations Mayabazar will always be the most iconic movie from Telugu Cinema. It's grandeur, scale, vision, VFX, Cinematography was so far ahead of its time and acted by stalwarts among stalwarts of Indian cinema. Many movies will come and go but this movie will firmly remain at the top for most Telugu audience. This movie set the foundation for the many mythological and folklore films which came later which in so many ways deeply influenced the cultural ethos of the population in our states. coffee_rules Posted December 25, 2025 Posted December 25, 2025 Knives out 3 is a pretty good whodunnit movie to watch on a holiday. A lot of characters and the usual twists makes this franchise pretty good to watch.

This one is much closer to original novel than hitchocok one which was pacier. Not quiet the murder on orient express. But this mostly happens on a running train. Tonal and Stylistic Differences Feature 1938 Version (Hitchcock) 2013 Version (TV Adaptation) Genre/Tone A fast-paced blend of spy thriller, comedy, and romance. Known for its witty, sophisticated sexual banter and light touch. A moodier, more deliberate character-driven suspense drama that emphasizes mystery and characterization. Pacing Crackling and express. Slower, more deliberate, and sometimes perceived as long or boring by fans of the original. Focus Focuses on entertainment, suspense, and a complex plot, featuring memorable supporting characters like the cricket-obsessed Charters and Caldicott. Leans more into psychological tension and the emotional depth of the main character, Iris. coffee_rules 1
vvvslaxman Posted December 25, 2025 Posted December 25, 2025 If you are into mystery movie "An inspector Calls" is a great psychological mystery and thought provoking movie. David Thewlis plays the inspector role (were wolf professor in harry potter) coffee_rules 1
