Straight Drive Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 Inspite of being hit by a no ball (over waist height) by Saini thereby injuring his hand, Stonis struck some big shots to post a brilliant 50. He has been smashing big sixers in Big Bash as well as LOI. The big knock against Kiwis in ODI was another show of his power game. Shaw looks to be a good choice for T20i as well. He has shots all around the wicket, can play lofted shots to negate the wet and slow out field which is a barrier for ball finding tougher to reach ropes when ground stroke is played. Someday he will surely score an IPL ton. Doesn't plays for personal landmarks, instead maintains a run scoring tempo rather than slowing down when a 50 is around the corner.
