No he kept addressing SRK sir, In post match prez, no matches for him for that

It's all about the game and how you play it.
All about control and if you can take it.
All about your debt and if you can pay it.
It's all about pain and who's gonna make it.

Sorry for digression. He was good for KKR when everyone failed. Good prospect, but it is too crowded at the top now. He has to break into finishing at 4,5,6 currently we are not looking beyond Iyer, Pant, Pandey. Need to blood done tyros there.

How has Mayank done outside of Sharjah?

Lol he scored 80 odd in the first game vs DC in Dubai..  & smashed likes of Rabada & Nortje.

That's why you need to remember things & don't unnecessarily hype players.

Or Mayank needs to play innings worth remembering. KXIP lost that match as well as the one where he scored a 100.

As far as "unnecessary hype" goes, Tripathi scored a record seven 30+ scores in a row opening for RPS in 2017. And the player he replaced at that slot was Mayank Agarwal himself. He still looks in good touch in 2020.

That's not Mayank's fault that his team lost.  He was the best batsman from both sides in those games.  If not Thala & Kedar ch**pa nobody would remember Tripathi's knock too.  But that doesn't changes the fact that he is tier below Mayank who's in the form of his life.

As I said Tripathi should have made a debut in 2017 after success with RPS.  If he keeps up consistency now then he will also turn out to be a solid contender.

Better IPL strike rate than Rohit Sharma.

Probably did better than Kohli this year and also has a better strike rate than Pujara. Tripathi for captaincy :isalute: so that he can look like fish out of water when facing 140+ bowlers in internationals.

This technique wont work in international , he is an opener. White ball will swing under lights for 2-3 reasons even if its super flat and it wont be super flat every game.

Many better options avl
