EC and our constitution has made communal speeches , esp during elections, illegal and can be booked. You are not supposed ask votes in the name of religion as we are “secular”. While minorities can openly ask to unite in the name of religion and vote as a bloc, the law firmly applies to Hindus

They have had a consistently demeaning view of women ( that’s as Tamil as the name Stalin is ). In fact, the remarkable thing is that they consider it kind of achievement. They have such great opportunity to secure TN for good for next 20 years. But they can’t help it.

Even in Coimbatore MNM coming 2nd or 3rd in urban seats will only help DMK. Only the amount of polling will determine the actual results there. If polling is close to 80% DMK will win more. Plus, most of the industries located in and around Coimbatore and in the West still haven't forgotten the effects of demonetization and GST. That's what helped the communists to get back the Coimbatore MP seat inspite of ADMK + BJP strong presence there. DMK may lose a few seats but I'm still positive as an alliance they will atleast 50% of the seats in TN West region. After OPS declaration of 10.5% reservation being a temporary measure until the new census, PMK ramadoss is in loggerheads with him thus rendering the reservation to votes transfer a moot point among vanniyars in the north. (Actually I can't believe they settled for a lesser percentage. Vanniyars must be around 14 and they have been hoodwinked by ADMK). Congress is poised to sweep KK and Vijay Vasanth is expected to win KK MP seat as well. Chennai and TN Central and north areas DMK will do well. Edited March 30, 2021 by Stan AF

Even Khushboo is getting a very good response. But how much of that is cause she is actress and how much of it results in votes remains to be seen. It will be interesting to see how the recent imports like khushboo annamalai saravanan perform in relation to old hands liks raja kupuraman etc
