I support the team. Not like you who will support the team when kohli leaves but now want them to lose because kohli is the captain. That in a nutshell is the difference between you and me. Trust matter clarified.. Remember one thing I didn't call you out just because you supported Kohli as a captain. My strong difference was with your choice of words and being judgemental and not necessarily that you have a different reason than mine.

Spending 8 hrs a day in hot humid sun playing domestic matches for years. Then praying to be picked. Its not about money and I am sure if you tomorrow become a cricketer the last thing in your mind will be money. It will be pride. Nawab Pataudi didnt play for money. He had enough. He played with one eye. Hanuma batted with hamstring grade 2 tear. Ashwin was bombarded. Do u think they were doing it for money. Gods sake we love the sport. We support the team. Win lose we do it together. Edited February 11, 2021 by neel roy kohli and rollingstoned 1 1

But his audacity and lack of manner is astounding that he does not even think twice before calling somebody anti national and scum. I know some people do not understand the language of decency when in social media failing to understand there will always be somebody who can be more abusive than them, in whose eye they will be judged as anti national because they have a simple difference in opinion. Difference in opinion can exist. But its about wishing a team to lose. Thats not opinion. Thats blasphemy. You supporting an Indian loss ( thats it end of story. Who is more anti national then) Nowhere in all my posts I have supported Kohli. In all posts I have talked about team. Whereas you have constantly been fixated about removing Kohli as a captain and going so far that you just want India to lose so that he loses captaincy. And your theory which I believe is flawed that removing Kohli from captaincy will lead to everything good for Indian cricket and India will be the best team in the world. It doesn’t happen like that. Its a team sport. so who is fixated towards an individual you or me. Edited February 11, 2021 by neel roy rollingstoned and kohli 1 1
neel roy Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 The poll should have been Do you think Kohli should be stripped of Captaincy if India loses rather Than DO YOU WANT INDIA TO LOSE THE SERIES SO THAT KOHLI LOSES CAPTAINCY kohli 1

You haven't seen hundreds of posters saying I hope India loses this game or that game, under Kohli? If not then stop posting BS. If you have then quote everyone of those posters here!

I wanted to shine a light on the more controversial view. The best way to counter a viewpoint is to give it a platform. If you honestly think Kohli is holding the team back with his captaincy, then it's not too outlandish to identify a series win here would shut down the one window of opportunity. Personally, I want India to win handsomely and for Kohli to have a great series.

R!TTER Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 So do you really think I want India to lose? I don't care if India wins under Kohli/Rahane heck even Root. But Kohli is unlikely to step down if we win. He's unlikely to quit even if we lose 4-0, I want Kohli out, that's it. Take it howsoever you want to.

What will happen in future who will have form lose form etc we do not know. We live in present. Controversial topics should not be given importance when it is a matter of national pride. Hell we lost a home test but fine. We should want our team to win whatever happens. Like we dont know what will happen in future with or without Kohli as captain, we also cannot erase the history of this test loss.. so mature people will take it in stride and move on to next, rather than fanning controversy by supporting an option of Wishing for Indian loss. The thing which is in your hand is to support the team. The thing not in your hand is the selection process. You have control over one as an individual but not on the other as an individual. By wishing India to lose just so that Kohli loses captaincy.. will that serve any purpose..
neel roy Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 (edited) Anyways have spent half my day in this forum. End of day we all want India to win. Be with Kohli as captain or without him. It gave me the same pleasure when Kohli was captain and India won 2-1 in 2018. Hell it gave me more pleasure we won 2-1 this year as we were back against the wall. But one thing is not in million years I can do is wish India to lose a match even if it means we will win world cups etc in future. You know why.. because we cannot predict the future..predict injuries ( who wd have thought we wd have 4 debutants in Gabba) .. predict form ( who could have thought Dravid after scoring 3 centuries in Eng in seaming tracks of 2011 will flop in flat decks of Australia or Yuvraj scoring at less than 100 sr in t20 wcup final).. predict toss ( who would have thought we would lose 11 tosses out of 12 against England) .. predict selection ( who would have thought Kohli will select Kuldeep in Lords or Karn Sharma in Adelaide or Rahane would select Sundar/ Nattu instead of Kuldeep in Brisbane) .so I live in present... good luck.. Jay Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Oops. I accidentally clicked yes. But definitely no. I really hope Kohli wins. I feel like he lost the dressing room though. Hope it gets sorted quick.
Number Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Hope we win but if we lose then Kohli should step down.
Yoda-esque Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Such a tough question, but ultimately you want india to win..
