No. I would rather win the series.

 

Cause even if Kohli "steps down", he'll still be the "leading figure" aka the proxy captain in the team like post 2016 Dhoni was in ODIs. His ego is way too big to listen to the likes of Rahane or Pujara or Ashwin.....

 

So, it's better if made our peace with that and keep our expectations in check. We have to bear with him till atleast 2027.

i think the bigger issue for Kohli is his ego seeing the other big 3 scoring tons of runs. He is slipping behind.

 

It's for his own good to resign and focus on batting, his batting legacy will be overshadowed by Kane, Root, Smith. Babar too, not too far behind now.

No guarantee we will win anything with Rohit. Beating Bangladesh in nidahas and 4 ipls with the best t20 bowlers and finishers is different from winning an ICC Trophy

And i think shame on the people who voted Yes. Its nauseating to see people keeping individual biases higher when compared to a series loss at home. Its freaking India s pride at stake..thats the issue with dim witted supporters and we blame Bangladeshis and Pakistani fans. We lost a game against a top team who won the toss and played a perfect match. We lost at home after 5 years .. Accept it and move on..
