PunterLog Posted February 13, 2021 Author Posted February 13, 2021 A decent number of Indian Muslims celebrating the murder of Rinku Sharma. How many Muslims have you seen condemn the incident? I've come across very few. Remember, these are the same people who'll complain about rising Islamophobia in India.
Yoda-esque Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Phobia is the word copied from Islamophobia. They are not afraid of Hindus. They hate Hindus, so Hindu hatred is a better choice Which other country can you name where the minorities blackmail the majority this way?

Used to visit the temple multiple times every year with my family as a kid. I haven't visited it in the last 8 years though I live in the same city. I see Christian missionaries taking rallies in the city. Temples MUST be released from state control for Hinduism to survive in this country. Not just for that reason. The govt should never be in control of religious settings and controlling funds given for religious purposes.

Yoda-esque Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 And therein lies the problem. So what can be done about that?Let's say a minority person is killed, you will find so many Dharmics being apologetic about it.Can you say the same about others? I haven't seen it to be honest.

ICF is about the only place I go to for India news and links. So, no. I am not on SM and don't keep up with the posts of leaders or followers of specific groups. So, honestly, I don't know. Now, during 9/11, there were allegations that the Islamic community in the US did not condemn the acts as forcefully as they should have. There was no SM then, so it is hard to tell. Also, the Catholic sexual abuse scandal (ongoing) is an example of where it appears that the clergy (and maybe the followers) are protecting the perpetrators (https://www.pewforum.org/2019/06/11/americans-see-catholic-clergy-sex-abuse-as-an-ongoing-problem/). This is where unconditional allegiance to a particular group becomes problematic. Edited February 13, 2021 by BacktoCricaddict

Even as an atheist, I can see that it would be disrespectful to the Ram picture on the mask and wouldn't want to wear one. My spit and mucus will keep getting on Ram pictures, and that is disrespectful, in my opinion. Although I don't pray, I still carry the respect that I was taught to have towards religious symbols. It is the same dynamic between minorities like Blacks/Hispanics vs whites in US. Difference is it is based on race and not religion, but there are strong parallels.
Yoda-esque Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 PFI leaders Ansad Badruddin and Firoz Khan arrested by UP Police in Lucknow after intel received by central agencies. Guns and explosives recovered. Their targets were RSS and Hindu organisation leaders. According to police they are experts in explosive making and recruiting. PunterLog Posted February 20, 2021 Author Posted February 20, 2021 A Muslim man used a fake Hindu identity for 12 years and he raped and murdered a 9 year old Hindu girl in Bengal. He's following his prophet who was 56 years old when he consummated the marriage with a 9 year old Aisha. The reason why Muslims oppose laws like NRC is because they don't want law and order in a non-Muslim nation. Gollum 1
