At a certain age, you tend to like certain genres more than others. I saw it for the first time when I was 23-24 and now almost a decade later I still enjoy watching the movie again. You probably saw the movie when you were a teenager and didn't like it much? Also Hugh Grant, and British actors in general, can do self-deprecating humour really well. Makes the characters very likeable. After Four Weddings and Funeral, I saw a couple of other movies by Hugh Grant, the most notable of which was Notting Hill. Loved that one too.

If you put a gun to my head and ask, I’d pick Forest Gump or Serpico or even The French Connection Never liked Forrest Gump. They tried to force fit the story of America from the 50s-80s around that character. Have you heard the song American Pie by Don McLean? He's done the same. Or in principle, the song is on similar lines. Let's just say that it does a better job of conveying what the youngsters of the 50s/60s in the US thought/went through in 8 mins than Forrest Gump did in 2-3 hours.

It was a sad tragedy but I am amazed by how they have managed to encapsulate the real happenings in 1912 while making another story that can be highlighted. It was the most realistic adaptation of the tragedy. Also, what's not to like about Leonardo di Caprio and Kate Winslet? they're amazing. some of us are still in lockdown which I rekindled my love for video games and even online casinos at home lol.
