Also Prasidh is definitely not like Ishant, he relies more on bounce and less on movement, in Ishant's case it was the opposite.

Just a single victory t20 victory over and all of a sudden Paks attack is "muh superior, talented, faster etc' even after loosing at home in a flat bed against Aussies Paks still flying high, there is this poster in pakpassion, sultan his name, the guy is so butthurt seeing umran, Sen bowl 145kph, his theory is that India's pacers are workman type who flourish together but not out and out world class, ridiculous take because all of bumrah, shami, Siraj and Umesh have spearheaded the attack on occasion and have done terrific , all of them are world class and would flourish without the support of the other bowlers. Umesh has proved it at home, siraj did it in Australia, shami led the attack at home in 2016, bumrah can lead in any condition. 2016-2019 shami, Umesh were express. You can't reason with them.. Most delusional quom on planet earth. Years of inbreeding has left them mentally unstable. I can't believe few Indian posters were trying to reason with him. Indian posters on PP are a embarrassment as well. Mesky99 1

He has natural outswinger to Left handers with the angle & that ball straightens off the seam to RHB. That's enough to trouble any batter. Mosher 1

Did you see Arjun cleaning Kishen in the nets too? funny that people want him to open vs guys like Starc, Shaheen etc. he won’t last too long. He is a spin basher and should be used in the middle overs.

Long way though being a left armer we have seen so many of those guys do get picked likes of Khaleel, Sakaria, Sran etc. His domestic record is ordinary. Jay 1

We have seen time and time again players who get picked for enormous price struggle to do well. Same thing had happened to Cummins when he went at 17 cr. Kishan should bat at 4 instead. Apart from Marshall, none of the others could be termed as swing bowlers either. Even Australia have done wonderfully in NZ and well in England using a combination of bounce bowlers snd express bowlers. West Indies pacers were over 6 feet tall, Umran is short, I don't think any bowler like Umran has ever done well in Nz and Eng. Similarly Australian bowlers are tall. The shortest of them being 6'3.

Bumrah at 5'11" was magnificent in 2018 when he wasn't swinging the ball as much as on that 2021 tour. And Umran is a Work in progress. He is already getting some regular indip which is likely to develop even more as time progresses and he becomes ready. Mosher, raki05, DarkProfile and 1 other 4
