Gurnoor Brar dropped after 1 match   :wall:

Everyone was expensive in the last match including Arshdeep, Rabada and Curran nut Gurnoor gets the axe.

It's difficult to play four pacers on Indian pitches, especially in Chennai. On most Indian pitches, don't need more than two pacers.

Parithana is really impressive, good mixing of deliveries which is required in this format

Ideal like for like replacement of Malinga

Umran should seriously need to use his brain like this boy,he simply goes through motion and bowls like a loose cannon this season

Parithana for me looks to be the most promising young pacer going around

Hope he becomes a mainstay in SL side

Umran last season looked like a different bowler. He was bowling as quick as he can and was trying to hit that top of offstump length and bowled some fiery yorkers which were like rockets. All these are missing this season. He seems shackled for some reason and just going through the motion.

Wonder, what is there to get bogged down?I don't understand, he's been regularly given chances and Tyagi is benched, infact Tyagi should be one who should be frustrated

Umran for all the pace he has which connects most fans like us, should only use little of his brain to keep it simple and bowl according to situation

Bowl Yorker and hard lengths for most part in space of four overs if he does that regularly he will master it through one season of IPL,that is how long an IPL is,he has played good 2 seasons now to know this

Pathirana is a serious talent. Yorkers at 145 and really deceptive slower balls. Will be difficult to handle especially in subcontinent conditions. That  Curran dismissal had some lateral movement too.

No new bowling talent emerging from India from what Ive seen.

Yes he is plus his action will also help him to create deception plus he's little tall with long arms, great whippy action that skids his deliveries even more

Who are India's finds this IPL? Looking at the wicket taking charts , the ones leading are already regulars in the national side or in the reckoning - Siraj,Arshdeep,Shami,Ashwin,Chahal,Jadeja, Bishnoi,Harshal. Deshpande has picked wickets but isn't great, Varun Chakravarthy has had a disastrous show in India colours, only Markande seems to be somewhat resurgent. Piyush Chawla is in the top 15 too by the way. Pace stocks are totally empty and the teams wont play some promising guys. Many are out injured too.

All in all very worrying signs for our immediate future.

Out of injured ones only Sen has got to play one match,Tyagi is yet to play others are injured

Harshit wasn't bad yesterday,Umran has disappointed this season so far

So not worrying as you say, need to see them more who are available and others to comeback

Pathirana is just 20. I don't think Umran does enough bowling in the nets, trying to improve his skills.
