Smart guy and has been a top performer for the franchise for many years. He would have felt he was robbed off the captaincy and even SKY too. I think he will switch to some other team. Now 150k is the real deal especially with regards to T20 cricket.

But his lack of wickets came down to lack of short pitch balls. He needs to mix it up... But I don't mind if he is doing this to preserve himself. Hopefully he knows why he isn't picking that many wickets despite bowling well.

Nah, when ball is moving around he generally bowls slower to use the swing. In tests he bowls faster with older ball. Today ball was jagging around so he was trying to move ball away and then bring it back in with control. He was erring in line as ball was moving back in a lot more than he was expecting

That's a fact. And I like this approach on hindsight. Such a long tournament. It is better to preserve his intensity for the business end of the tournament. Let the rookies go flat out and prove themselves.
