Deshpande is coming back after a long injury lay off. He missed whole domestic season. Pace will expectedly be down due to that.

Deshpande anyway will be 30 in few months. He is older than Prasidh & Sen. RR should ideally move to likes of Ashok Sharma who are 22-23 and can serve the franchise longer.

That was the only yr where deshpandey was bowling 140+ kmph rest have been sub 140. Zim tour as well he bowled below 140 kmph.

 

If he is not fully fit gives more reason to pick some1 else. rr batting is relying on Sanju, Parag and jsiawal and some quick runs from Hetmyer not a strong batting line up.

They need bowler to restrict opposition to not that a big total

yes Kamboj bowling 135 to 139.4K and bowling accurately on the wickets...he got one bowled too. he has been attacking on the stumps and he is not bowling defensive at the 8th wicket. lets see how he bowls in coming matches but he attacks stumps.

That is his range in t20s, effort balls may push to 142-143 kmph, bowls tight lines but sometime drifts a bit into leg-side making those leg-side flicks, hooks easy for the batter

In the 136 k to 142 k range. Mostly 139 / 140 k balls.

 

Probably the only match when he did not cross 144 k.

 

Harshit is bowling slower than he does for Team India.

Harshit is bowling slower than he does for Team India. 

His action is natural to in-swing bowling , one can see he needs to change a bit when bowling out-swing to rh batters.

think the game he tries out-swing it would be around 140-143 and the day he bowls inswing it would be higher than that. Plus he bowls alot of pace change.

i never saw his bowling but i did read that he has been a wick taking machine in domestic cricket.

i found him crazy first as he was attacking the STUMPS all the time or on the 4th Stump. tried to get a few LBW.

HIs bowling STYLE Suits red ball cricket and definitely does not suit t20. over all his accuracy was " too accurate and some one special"

i will need to see him some more b4 deciding about him but he seems very promising for TESTS if he can maintain 135 to 142K Speed , slower than 139K. he wont be effective.

In the MI games...even if someone touches 140 becomes the fastest.

MI need to seriously look at their fast bowling prospects.

Decentish.

His speeds vary a lot...in Pakistan game he was bowling 137-138 and suddenly one at 145-147.

I guess he can crank more, but chooses to stay within himself.

His bowling action and approach is not suited to bowl really fast consistently, will always have ups and downs. Very much like Siraj. Runup isn't rhythmic, more hustling quick and short runup.
