State of cricketing IQ in this country really @express bowling @Suhaan @singhvivek141 there is a reason guys like Boobie Koomar, Avesh Shardul Deepak Chara used to play cricket in this country and are well respected and idolised Still there are people who celebrate batsmen more than bowlers and pacers are known for their swing even if they barely qualify as a pacer, first theydont realise mostif them arent disciplined with line and length either If they don't even spare Bumrah, what value do these newcomers have to them? I've always said that this is no country for fast bowlers rollingstoned, New guy, express bowling and 3 others 6

Nagakoti was still clocking 140-146 kmph , think that 149 kmph was just 1 delivery in U-19, his range has been 140-147 kmph which he still archived till v.recently. Issue was he was not that tall, such speed can work in u-19 but its nothing that intnl batter will have concerns about. Mavi got injured he took the easy way out, dropped the pace, became regular in domestic side and as such sub 135 kmph bowlers are v.successful in domestic he also found some success and got selected in Ind side. After a major injury, it's not just an issue of drop in speed or retaining speed. It's the fear of recurrence of injury which often creates a mental block. Some pacers cannot bowl all out again or can't hit the deck hard enough or practice like they used to. That extra zip or that bit extra bounce or that special something maybe lost forever if that mental block is not removed. Those lonely months or years of rehab and trying to get back on the field, while their peers progress, puts a lot of pressure on the mind. Such pacers need someone to guide them mentally. Hopefully, Arun does it for Mayank. And does not drop him after a bad game or two. He badly needs a few actual games under his belt. Then he will be a match winner like 2024. speedster and Mosher 2

Express pace is mad-man mentality as every 2-3 series bowler will get injured its nearly unavoidable, bowlers who have this mentality can comeback to full pace those who do not have such mentality just fade season after season. For pacers injury is reality of profn, those who are intelgnt and have desire to be top bowlers try to regain the peak fitness and speeds as soon as possbile and those who are and wait for sometime will never regain the older pace again, its always necessary to regain full pace v.quickly after returning to the game, that why keep mentioning mayank has to breach 150 kmph as soon as possible. Historically Ind pacers drop pace after getting injured and do nt remain same bowlers so when ever picking any bowler their top speeds and speeds after eventual injury should be kept in the mid, selecting a 135 kmph bowler means 1 injury they will be sun 130 kmph bowler. express bowling 1

The magnitude of the injury and the age at which it happens play big parts. A 4 to 6 month layoff is common for a quick bowler. And after the mid 20s is reached, a person is usually able to handle the mental aspect better as he matures as a person. But for teenagers or early 20s guys, the body is fragile and the mind is immature. If a person is basically out for 2 years, from age 21 to 23, it is a whole different ball game compared to a 3 month layoff for a 28 year old. Mariyam, Mosher, tapandrun and 3 others 6
