Posted this previously too Ind bowlers do not bowl at the most effective pace for their kind of bowling. They are not ready to push the speeds.

 

Yes 1-2 games they would do it but not regularly, Hence have to talk about default speeds rather than one off here and there 1-2 deliveries

teams suddenly losing concentration due to fatigue and similar reasons.. saw that in previous seasons too.

220+ scores will be difficult to chase.. good news for bowlers

What a disappointment this IPL has been. The trundler love fest continues in IPL and domestic cricket, feel that we will be back to being a weak bowling side and unlike before we don't even have spinners to win. Our test side will struggle both at home and away. The inability of Indian management to understand, appreciate and show patience towards bowlers with pace is frustrating!

With GT Ashok Sharma won't get games next year as well,with plethora of pacers available they won't go with him,as the season progesses pitches will slow down lowering the chance further

Really hope ,he is instead marked for A games,home/away and prepare him for red ball,odis,same for Tyagi

Mayank needs to sort his attitude first and hope he too plays proper amount of cricket this domestic season

All three should be playing for A or in nonconsequential where main bowlers are rested.

He was taken off after that over against Urvil..If Urvil Was still

there for his 2nd over..he would also hv crossed fifty..

When was the last time Bumrah touched 90 mph 2-3 times in a match. Seems like ages. Hes more like 136-141k bowler now.

 

In contrast, Hazlewood was consistently 142-143 in his first spell. Even Cummins bowls at least a few at 144-145 each match. And Rabada is 147-153 - an absolute beast atm.

A faster domestic bowler only gets to play either in garbage time games or if the equivalent intnl player is not available, such bowlers only gets chances if some1 got injured at the last moments. 

 

Just check how the playing 11+1 is constructed for pace bowlers--OS bowlers ,Ind capped bowlers+ 1 brijesh kind of bowler. Teams are trusting brijesh kind of bowlers and only way for Ind domestic bowler can make it is either garbage time games or if there are injuries.

They are not going to get games its clear.

 

Ashok was on bench entire season for RR, Gt gave him some games but he got expensive for their batting line-up as its nt a proper t20 batting line-up they are trying to cut extra runs and adding bowler who can bat (hit 4/6)

 

Already posted these gimmicky bowlers do not last long in intl levels, but IPL teams will find way to use them, teams are looking to cut extra 10-15 runs from opp. they think these bowlers provides that option.

yes, there are v.few 95 mph bowlers and no1 is asking every bowler to be 150 kmph , but to survive long term in intnl bowlers needs to be high 130s and early 140s kmph.

 

The gimmick here is these bowlers the teams are picking are picked out of some domestic t20 leagues and based on a far fetched promise that these pace change bowlers can deliver , they can be good for 1-2 season and once their variation are known they go for runs.

 

In place of such bowlers ipl teams can develop couple of proper bowlers which can serve them years after years 

 

The only such bowler who has made an intnl career out if it is bravo, and he was proper allrounder and a gun fielder and played in team with  multiple allrounder and hence the seasons where his bowling was not working he would not bowl much and keep his place in side.

 

The next such bowler who comes to the mind is sam curran and he too is a decent lower order batter and plus the LA angle and he always was new ball bowler so has that kind of skills.
