More importantly, he has always delivered when he has been under pressure in the end overs. This can be priceless in a big tournament. He is really good at what he does recent form apart. But every bowler has his strength and should stick to it. So Mavi should stick to his strength, element that brought him in limelight. Mosher 1

Bowling at 135 he didn't do any wonders either,he picked 4 because he bowled a little better at pace which happens to be his natural strength,in any case he can always go back to his natural pace now only ,once he crosses 25-26he won't be able to make any change in his action to gain pace This has been his only 3rd season ,he doesn't need to blindly bowl 145-146 but him just running and putting the deliveries is disheartening to see at 132+ Mosher 1

In India, there is abundance of upcoming fast bowling talent. Next u19 batch is just here and some serious fast bowling talent is on display in Prince Badiani, Vasu Vats and Golam Mustafa. Maybe more which I have not seen yet. He cannot relax.

If going flat out at 145+ isn't yielding the right results for him, I see nothing wrong in trying to go through a few games where he prioritises control, gets wickets, gains confidence and then goes back to his natural pace (which is still there, he has shown in this IPL itself he can go 140+ at will).
