Stokes,Kohli,Rohit are elite players that keep the aesthetics of cricket alive. Russell,Pandya etc are modern day T20 players that have value in this setting and they entertain housewives and casual viewers in the IPL with their 6’s,antics and hairstyle. I like to watch a masala movie but I prefer my Masala movie to have some content, some art and performances as well. Don’t want 3 hours or item songs and mass Masala action. Eng lost the test series 3-1. Check Stokes batting in first test and bowling in last test. This is a cricket forum not a meeting for making marketting strategy. Also btw guys like pandya , russell fall in very same category of IPL brand value infact much much higher then morgan, cummins , woakes (who is a nobody in IPL till now.) Russell pandya pollad are big IPL stars big one and have massive value for their side. I rate someone like Jadeja,Ashwin,Woakes,Stokes etc as true pure allrounders Stoinis, HP, Curran are more the exciting LoI allrounders with that test level potential so I felt they were in the same category. They are still a little bits and pieces but way way better than the run of a mill bits and pieces player who gets a contract in these leagues. He is half a fit this time to, a lil more the. Previously. His biggest strength in bowling is his shoulder...he can jog up n crank good pace. Last yr also he was bowling very well with a bad leg.
