England fans dont deserve this team

Let’s be honest, cricket is an extremely niche sport in England. Not a lot of young people watch it and most of the times it’s usually the old people or people from Asian countries who watch it (and they support the country of their origin) so that means that the players don’t get the respect they deserve, I mean Buttler and Morgan could be walking on the street and most people won’t bat an eye but if a footballer like Sancho who has done nothing as of note yet in football would get mobbed and that is also given by the fact that the guy who won them the cricket World Cup for the first time in the history from the jaws of defeat has less followers than someone like Grealish who’s just a decent player, nothing special.

I love cricket but lets be honest, football is a much better sport. Its much more exciting and entertaining than cricket. It is for this reason fans connect to footballers more. Cricket is simply not a spectator sport.

English team? Imports make their team what it is today. Pure Brits are trash. Always have been. Even In football and rugby rofl.

There is no comparison of Cricket & football in England.   The Passion & interest of younger generation makes football bigger thing in England & rightly so

Just saying : Pakistani person talk abt pakistani team living outside Pak and casually talking about some English side does not make you anything other than a Pakistani.

I used to be an avid football follower.. just follow the score lines these day... the Euro kept a casual fan like me on tenterhooks throughout the tournament. Such is the power of football. DOn't compare it with an insignificant sport like cricket.

In the recently concluded England vs Pakistan ODI series, the Pakistani fans were easily outnumbered by the White British, the Drunkards, all geared up in their fancy dresses. This cricket is a niche sport and not many people watch and play the sport in England is a myth. I have been hearing this ever since I started watching cricket, and yet the British have been producing the most talented Cricketers in the past decade or so, be it the emergence of Butler, Roy, Bairstow, Stokes, and their current crop of Carse, Overton etc. have class written all over them. And btw who are you to decide what British Fans deserve and what they don't? On a lighter note, you Guys deserve Barber Hajam, he's the best but yet not the best, what a Dilemma to be in.

This paks have this wierd fantasy of imagining that by acting like they are from some other country will get them accepted there lol.. Once a pakistani always a pakistani :)..
