I think Jaddu will be playing for his spot for T4 in the remainder of this test.

Scored 100 runs at 25 avg (sure his batting position is a disadvantage but he is unable to bat with the tail)

2 wickets after conceding 190 runs, over 5 innings, total 76 overs

No real impact while fielding....ATG fielder but keeper, slips, FSL, SP, leg gully are the important catching positions.

Not good enough to hold on to the spot especially since he didn't have a good outing in WTC F as well (sub-par batting and no wicket). He needs to finish strong here, at least a 50 and if they bat again, a couple of wickets when match is alive.

he has had to throw his bat due to tail.

I'm not too comfortable with Ashwin or Thakur at 7. MO has to inspire more confidence to be able to afford that.If Jaddu goes he should be replaced by batsman only(Vihari maybe)

If you are playing two spinners your fast bowlers will automatically get good rest, dropping an extra batsman on a relatively flatter pitch isn't the right way to go about this.

Not really. Fast bowlers get more rest with one spinner and 4 pacer combo. Think about it.

Spinner like ash or jaddu will go through their overs much quicker. Less rest for bowlers.

Logical thinking. Something kuli lacks. Yea you need to account for overrate. Every other team doesn't care about overrate. We don't need to either.

Thakur is crucial. Guys like thakur, pandya and bhuvi suit English and kiwi conditions. It's unfortunately the truth.

Vijay shankar another one that suits these conditions.

We only have thakur available now. Besides thakur Is very good. Might as well play him.

Already got docked 2 WTC points. So we should care even if we play 4 pacers. Learn from NZ,they manage it with 5 pacers

Thakur is crucial in proper English conditions, at the Oval we don't need him. He won't get much lateral movement at the Oval.

We need two spinners at the Oval and No we can't drop a batsman that would be idiocy.

Regarding your point about fast bowlers not getting much rest, A spinner like Ashwin will bowl way more overs than Thakur, so even if he complete his overs faster he bowls more overs so that will give the pacers enough time. No need to worry about that.

Spinners are always under bowled here

One spinner is all that's needed in sena. That's the truth. Thakur gets movement even on dead pitched as seen in Australia where india won without the chewt.

But their captain is intelligent. Our captain is a dumbass. Who cares about. WtC final. It's rubbish. Should be a proper 3 match series decider. I would sacrifice points deduction to win series' in sena anyday.

This team badly needs extra batsman.

Bowlers can't do jack if runs are not scored.

not extra.Replacement.

Yeah, better replace Jadeja with Vihari.

Drop Pujara, Kohli and Rahane.

bhai Vihari can come in for one of these. Jadeja has looked solid without making a big one due to batting low.He should swap places with Pant.

Jadeja doesn't make if we are playing four bowlers. As a bowler, he has looked part timer

Play Shaw and Sundar next test. And Ashwin.

Rohit, Shaw, KL, Kohli, Sundar, Pant, Jadeja, Ashwin, Shami, Siraj, Bumrah

Sundar is injured and back in India.
