T20 World Cup - Warm up match threads (non India games)

NEW DELHI: Before kick-starting their campaign in the T20 World Cup against arch-rivals Pakistan, Virat Kohli-led India would square off against England and Australia in warm-up games. The match against England would take place on October 18 while the game against Australia will be played on October 20.

Speaking to ANI, a source confirmed the same. "Yes, India will lock horns against England and Australia in warm-up games and they will be telecast on Star," the source said.

On September 8, the Indian national selectors had picked the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup to be hosted in UAE and Oman. In a surprise move, off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was included in the team. He had last played a T20I against West Indies in July 2017.

Pitch for the wi and Pak game looks completely dead, slow and low. Four overs into the innings everything looks quite amateur, Imad is blatantly chucking it and hassan Ali is trundling in.

Imad Wasim tough to get away especially for right handers on these slow pitches.  As expected Imad & Shaheen will open the bowling for Pak. 

Lassan looks like a Harmless trundler that will be dispatched easily by Rohit Surya Kohli.

Rauf is like Saini they can go for plenty once they get hit.  Players like Rauf don't hurt Indian batsman as they don't produce wicket taking deliveries that much. Rauf although is a good death bowler.  I think It's either gonna be spin or Shaheen with new ball that can hurt India.

Raw pace has never troubled indian batsmen much in LOIs. Rauf gets carted around by even ordinary batsmen
