They replaced Malik with Haris Sohail after India game in WC19 & he did so well & they won game after game then.

Looks like in poyyz land, if you get a couple of '25(14)'s in some pan masala league, you'll be called a "dynamic batter" lol. I have seen these Khushboos and Hajams and Makkichoos' play and they're barely domestic level. Just shows how destitute they're in terms of actual young dynamic batting talent.

Why would anyone select Malik ? Pakistan is hell bent on gifting us the first game. Just because Sehwag scored runs against pakistan doesnt mean I include him in the squad. Their middle order could potentially be Hafeez, Sarfaraz and Malik. Its like instead of us playing sky/Iyer, pant and hardik we play Raina, dhoni , Yuvraj of today.

Yes, this middle order is composed of old men who were just OK batsmen even n their younger days , but believe me there is no better than them available in Pakistan domestic cricket. Hafeez is the oldest and has not been in great form for almost six months and is just recovered from Dengue infection , so I'm not sure whether he was a good selection or not.

How about selecting younger players just to get them ready for the next one which is less than 12 months away.
