Legally, Team Ind representing Ind (with India on its jersey) would be playing the 5th test v Eng (not ECB)

 

Patriotic fans and cricketers would have liked the team to play the 5th test as originally scheduled (and not be influenced by a few players)

Biggest question: can Indian bowlers perform without Arun and Ravi. What an idiotic surrender by Ganguly and BCCI. Are they morons how can you play a test in 2022 and count it towards 2021 series. Ganguly and morons from BCCI should hang their heads in shame. WTF! how is playing at Edgbaston going to  compensate Manchester.

 

Isn't loss of revenue for the that ground cited as a main thing for ECB.

To complete the series thereby fulfilling our (BCCI's) commitment of playing a 5 match Test series.

The point of playing this test is to finish the series the BCCI agreed to.

Sorry if I came across rude to you.I am not blaming you.ECB was crying for loss of revenue both for Lancashire and Sky. I know old trafford is not available but why play as a part of 2021 series.
