And Ishant, Umesh and Shami had been around in tests from much before. The results are also there for all to see. Won a test series in Australia in 2018-19 and leads 2-1 in England in 2021. Wins every test series at home which was not the case before. While he has not been able to win any big tournament as a white ball captain, be it international cricket or the IPL. It was the exact opposite with Dhoni. Having different captains for different formats is very very important. If anything Kohli has taught us that having too much power can ruin Indian Cricket. The BCCI also needs to look at really specialized squads, the same cricketers used in Test are not necessarily the right ones for T20. It might seem obvious but it hasnt been the case in Indian cricket. Ditto the ODI team too. The T20 squad v NZ next month must be compiled with the next World Cup in mind. Its time to move on for a lot of senior players. express bowling 1
Austin 3:!6 Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 After the start we got (6/2), 151 was not a bad score in the end. It was definitely not a match winning one by any means but a fighting total. It could have been 170+ had Hardik Pandya chipped in with some runs. But what is shocking was we couldnt pick a single Pak wicket. All the bowlers looked lacklusture and were simply going through the motion. I understand there was Dew but atleast some fightback was expected. We played like how India used to play against Pak back in 90s. Adi_91, Cricspin, Lord and 1 other 1 3

The first over was like Zaheer khan's first over in 2003 world cup final.
putrevus Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 They needed to get early wickets to put pressure on them but Bhuvi let all the pressure go with his first over and what followed was more bad bowling by everyone else. Lord 1
