He was an alright captain until the 2007 wc disaster. But unlike the current lot, he actually felt accountable for it and gave up the captaincy while also giving up the T20 format to next gen players 

 

Lots of kids look up to Dravid, atleast the ones within Indian cricket setup. Normies and causal fans don't care but their opinion doesn't really matter

Dravid's focus should be to create specialists in 3 formats to avoid burnout as most players wouldnt want to avoid IPL and it will get even bigger. Longer gaps between games or tournaments is an absolute necessity. His experience with U19 players should help him in this regard. Also, need to look into the choking culture which has crept into the team. Something wrong with Indian team's ability to lift themselves in knockout scenarios or high pressure scenarios. Need mentally tough players to avoid these situations.

 

He should also look to continue doing the good work India is doing as a test team both home and away.

We won our first test in South africa under Dravid and the test series in West Indies & England after a long time under Dravid .. Even a test win in Pak was under his captaincy.  

 

In ODI's, we did have a 17 match winning streak chasing under Dravid where he chose to chase no matter what the conditions were to improve upon chasing... So I would not worry.

Too early to say. First we have to win M ulti Format Cricket matches vs NZ/Proteas etc under Rahul Dravid as Coach.

 

We were beaten with 2nd String indian team in SL under Dhawan so long way to go for us than we talk about ICC events as you know Dravid was coach in Sri lanka too.i wonder why Dhawan despite 551 runs in IPL not Finds himself in indian team
