Almost all Brit Pakistani were opposed to it nd viewed it as non Islamic anti religious UAE is becoming. Now if you critically think, these Brits have been taught in British schools and British Unis. But how come these guys carry such anti free law? Answer is that fundamental truth/legal books written in 600-700AD based society which is supposedly taking precedence over any other thought. There is a fine difference, If mob knows there is a child rapist/killer among them and catches him doing this with one of victims, it will start beating him. Then some will voice that he should be handed to police but some may not agree and someone may call police. The criminal may or maynot survive the mob beating but mob is essentially NOT trying to kill him but “BEAT” him. In case of Pakistani society, mob will go for “KILL” as per religious diktat.
