Test Fantasy Draft Post 1970s debut?

It is about vision and goals of forming a team.  Players can be selected accordingly. Being #8, some of my first choice players have been picked by others but that only allowed me to pick other similar players that I had lined up too. You should have 2-3 choices up your sleeve. For the remaining 4 picks (including #12), I have multiple choices in my mind per what I want my team to do next. 

 

It is important to not have all bowlers, batsmen, and all-rounders in your first 3-4 picks as that can lead to unbalanced teams all around.

I agree with that part. For me, I have always believed that test matches are won by your bowlers. That's why I have gone with 4 genuine ATG bowlers ( McGrath, Wasim, Donald and Ashwin) and I think I am still able to line up a pretty balanced batting lineup too( all batting at their postions only).

It is shaping up well. Need to see who the WK will be. Still also lacks another specialist opener  ...  Crowe, I had scheduled to pick at R9 to bat at #4 as he has the style that I want in my 11. I thought that he would not be on most ppl's mind so good work there to pick him!

Originally, KP was to bat at 5, where he has batted in over 25 tests. Now tentatively, 4 or 5, depending on how the rest of the 11 goes. 

 

Crowe can work at 3 but has played most of his test in the upper middle order (#4-5).
